I recently purchased this camera as a gift after having one of my own for years. This Sony model camera is very easy to learn how to use and takes terrific pictures, and short mpeg and avi movies with sound.It has all the manual control features found on more expensive models. The only negative about this camera is that it's hard to find new as it has been discontinued by Sony..
