I own four of these machines and have found them to be best I could find for the job.Their ease of use is a selling point.Once you want to use this feature, it is very easy to become familiar products. I have over 600 DVD's, approximately 250 are from VCR tapes of movies I wanted to save.These machines are transferred and recorded all the material with very few problems. Once in a while I would record and the DVD would hang up, stop, and be very difficult to continue. The real negative is that they create to take about two years and then start problems. However, given the price, the ease of replacing, I think that is a reasonable lenth of time for error free performance..
